GENERAL TRAVEL INFORMATION

WINTER MONTHS

Oversnow Transport is required to reach us in winter.  Charlotte Pass Snow Resort is completely snow bound during the winter months. This means no road access to the resort. For more information regarding the resort and to book your oversnow, please refer to the Charlotte Pass website - www.charlottepass.com.au 

 

If you are driving to the Snowy Mountains, you will need to park at the Skitube Terminal located at Bullocks Flat on the Alpine Way - approximately 20 minutes past the town of Jindabyne. Bullocks Flat has ample long term parking and is free of charge.  You then need to take the Skitube train to Perisher Valley. Tickets can be purchased for the Skitube from the Perisher ticket desk located inside the terminal building. The travel time is approximately 20 minutes. Once you have disembarked at Perisher Valley porters will assist you to the upper level with your luggage.

 

You will find the Charlotte Pass Guest Services desk on the upper level situated inside the Perisher Valley terminal. Do not leave this building. Once at the desk please, let our friendly staff know that you have arrived.

As you are in Kosciuszko National Park, there is no overnight parking at Perisher Valley. National Parks will fine you if you park your car overnight.

Please be sure to arrive at the Guest Services Desk at least 15 minutes before your pre-booked scheduled oversnow transport. If you miss your oversnow, we will do our best to allocate your seats on the next available oversnow.

If you are travelling by plane, you have the option of flying into Canberra and taking a bus. Murrays, Greyhound and Trans-boarder coach services run daily to Perisher Valley where you will meet your Oversnow transport. Be sure to book your bus first and then your oversnow times to avoid delays.

There is also the option of flying into the Snowy Mountains Airport and taking the shuttle services to Perisher Valley where you will meet your Oversnow transport.

 

It is a good idea to keep up to date with the current road and weather conditions whist on route. Tune into local radio Snow FM (97.7) or
XLFM (96.1) for the latest roads and traffic updates.

Your oversnow transport must be pre-booked for arrival and departure.

SUMMER MONTHS

Charlotte Pass Village is accessible by car during the summer months, follow the Kosciuszko Road past Perisher Valley until you arrive at the Village. There is a fee to enter the Kosciuszko National Park, you can purchase tickets to enter the park at either Jindabyne Tourist Information Centre, Cooma Visitors Centre or at the National Park Gates along the Kosciuszko Road.
